Bowen says no to hay fever

by | Apr 22, 2018

Spring is definitely in the air, at last, flowers and blossoms are in bloom, trees are beginning to bud, sunshine and blue sky……. But for those who suffer from hay fever, this can be the start of a miserable time!!

What if this year was different?

What if this year you discover a complementary therapy that works and can keep the symptoms of Hay Fever away?

Some of my clients have discovered that Bowen works and results show:

  • no itchy eyes;
  • no nosebleeds;
  • no running nose and;
  • a sense of feeling so well.

Although there are many antihistamines and nasal sprays on the market to help hay fever sufferers, the Bowen Technique is a drug-free, non-invasive therapy that can also help this disorder.  An added benefit is that there are none of the side effects often related to hay fever drugs, sprays, etc.

Don’t take my word for it, here are some true examples;

I remember D, 13 years old at that time: When asked what did he like most about the Bowen treatment, D. said: “It’s relaxing and no more nose bleeds.”

D. suffering from Hay Fever, came for a Bowen treatment when on up to 3 antihistamines per day, very congested and suffering from sore eyes and nosebleeds. After 2 treatments the nose bleeds and sore eyes had reduced, only taking 2 antihistamines. After 3 treatments, only taking 1 antihistamine per day and sometimes forgetting to take it until the afternoon when noticed sneezing. No sore eyes or running nose. After 5 sessions, D. has not taken any histamine. Since the last visit, eyes are clear and no nasal congestion.

Some of my clients feel a massive change instantly! Let’s see what Ged says:

Earlier this week, during my final treatment of Bowen therapy sessions carried out for the pains due to Ankylosing Spondylitis, I mentioned that I was suffering a little with hay fever, so Camelia said, “OK, I’ll work on it”. She worked on my lymph nodes and other areas (around my eyes, neck, etc.). I have been out walking through the Saddleworth countryside for the last few days with NO hay fever symptoms whatsoever. To say I am staggered is an understatement – no itchy eyes, no sneezing! My wife suffers from hay fever much worse than me, and she’s booked in with Camelia this afternoon to get it sorted too.

Thanks so much Camelia – you are truly amazing at what you do and I will continue to recommend you to anyone I know you can help. I will be back in touch soon to ensure I stayed ‘topped up’ with my treatment.

Caroline, used to suffer every year from Hay Fever, from April to September.

I am fairly new to Bowen therapy, and only went as way to relax, it was recommended by friend so thought I’d give it a go. I wasn’t really going for anything in particular but for general relaxation and wellbeing. However, after the first consultation with Camelia, I discovered that I had a fair amount of ailments that would benefit.

The first session I had was wonderful. The only way I can describe the session is it felt like a burden had been lifted from me. I think my session was quite unique as half way through I had an over whelming urge to laugh, and not just giggles but real belly laughs. It was amazing and felt much more energised. Over the weeks I was treated for hay fever, ear ache, menstrual cramps and tension.

Every year from April to September, I would normally take antihistamines every day. After about 6 sessions I stopped, and only took them when I needed them. My ear ache is no longer painful, and whilst my cramps are still happening, I can cope without pain killers. Over all the experience is amazing!  I now go every month and most of the session I laugh and always come away felling so much better.

If you are an open person I suggest you give it a try.  With any treatment there are no absolute guarantees as we are all different and can react differently to any remedy.

But it may turn out to be your great discovery and make Hay Fever symptoms fade away.

And for sure you will get one hour of deep relaxation as Bowen therapy is one of the most relaxing complimentary therapy that exists.

Search for a Bowen therapist, ideally before the Hay Fever season starts, or if you are close to Manchester, call me on 0753 0284930 and book an appointment.

Best wishes, Camelia Pop, Bowen Practitioner

See you soon

Remember Bowen is great for top up sessions when your body feels less flexible or when you need more energy too!!
